Emory Flight: Emory Healthcare's air medical transportation service

Emory Flight is Emory Healthcare System's air medical transportation service that is owned and operated by Air Methods Corporation / LifeNet. Any hospital or EMS agency can utilize Emory Flight to transfer critically ill patients to a medical facility that provides optimal care for their injuries or illness.
Emory Flight operates three helicopters to effectively cover the majority of Georgia as well as parts of Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. By serving the state with multiple strategically placed helicopters, we are improving the odds in the race against time during the "The Golden Hour". Emory Flight is the only air medical transport provider in the state of Georgia that is accredited by CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems).
The three bases are located in Griffin, Jefferson, and Cartersville Georgia. Because Emory Flight is not hospital-based it has the ability to transfer patients to the destination that will best treat the patient's specific needs.
