The Department of Neurology at Emory Clinic has established a General Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis clinic. This clinic is available to anyone with neurological difficulties or complaints. Our goal is to make neurological care at Emory Clinic easily and quickly accessible, as neurological problems can be very complex and frightening.
Services and treatment
The clinic is equipped to offer a full line of neurological services. We see patients with all aspects of neurological difficulties and are able to guide patients to other physicians within the Emory Clinic for even more specialized care. Our staff sees patients with headaches, seizures, neuropathies, gait difficulties, etc. In addition to evaluation and management of all neurological problems (including detailed headache evaluations), we also perform electromyography with nerve conduction studies in addition to our neuromuscular division. For neuropathic disorders including carpal tunnel syndrome and greater occipital neuralgia, we perform various types of injections for treatment.
We also have specialized expertise in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and offer a full line of therapies. We also are able to provide referrals for physical therapy, cognitive evaluations and treatments, urological evaluations and treatment, and counseling. Clinical trials are available and being offered for the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
