Emory's Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia, is recognized as a regional center of excellence in the treatment or oral and maxillofacial disorders for adult and pediatric patients, from basic wisdom teeth removal to facial and jaw reconstruction.

Division surgeons have a wide range of experience and interests:

	Division chief Dr. Steven Roser's numerous specialties include cleft lip and cleft palate surgery, laser surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction, facial plastic surgery, maxil mandibular advancement and treating sleep apnea, head and neck cancer, tongue malignancies and trigeminal neuralgia.
	Dr. Gary Bouloux's areas of expertise include temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery and treating mandibular fractures with small bone plates.
	Dr. Sam Farish directs the oral and maxillofacial surgery program at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and specializes in implantology, maxillofacial trauma, maxillofacial reconstruction and oral pathology.
	Dr. Martin Steed oversees the division's residency program. His clinical specialties are maxillofacial trauma, oral and maxillofacial reconstruction, dentoalveolar surgery and dental implants, while his research interests include evaluating new techniques in treating maxillofacial trauma.
