American Cancer Society The ACS is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem through research, education, advocacy and service.
CancerQuest Initially formed to teach the biology of cancer, this organization's website also includes information about treatment, research and clinical trials.
Georgia Cancer Coalition The goal of the GCC is to accelerate prevention, early detection, treatment and research of cancer. The GCC website includes information on treatment centers in Georgia and patient guidelines for evaluating clinical trials.
National Cancer Institute The NCI coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination and other programs that focus on cancer causes, diagnoses, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation as well as the continuing care of cancer patients and their families.
